This idea came to me last night...and so I just did it. And it took me three and a half hours. So, I'm pleased with the final product. The only thing I did after scanning it was bring out the black...but other than that, what you see is the original piece.
It's based upon my love of lotus flowers and those flowery designs, combined with a sort of graffiti text. The words aren't mine, I'm sad to say. BUT I LIKE THEM. VERY MUCH. They're from "Stay Human" by Michael Franti & Spearhead. Great song, great band. Do give them a listen. The song has a beautiful message, and I hope that I did it some justice with this design. (I'm thinking of colouring it, what do you think?) |
